Video of the Day: Ayer Me Dijo un Ave

Is it silly of me to look for signs in little creatures? This morning there was a darling baby bird outside by the front steps. He was a little ball of fuzz and beak, tucked into a corner away from the hot sun. I was worried until I saw his mom in a nearby tree. After a few hours, the baby and his mom were gone. Obviously the flying lesson went well.

Wouldn't it be great if we could all protect our children from what can hurt them? At least when they're too small or too weak to protect themselves. At least until they know how to protect themselves.

Ayer me dijo un ave que volara
Por donde no hay ardor
Que lo sufrido no resucita en sueños
Y en rezos nunca murio

Que saque el aire de mis ojos
Que abrace el miedo con tus sueños
Que sea un guerrero de sangre
Para que nadie te haga daño
